Awaiting the publication of my first book (requested frommany readers of this Blog page, but I don’t wish to share for now additional specific informations about the book, except that is practical), I would like to introduce, here, an excerpt- preview of the same. I hope you’ll enjoy this mini-chapter.

Another very useful but also demanding practice is the so called I Am exercise. It consists in repeating no less than once an hour within the space of a day, the phrase “I Am”, and this statement said alone should work as a reminder to connect ourselves with the idea of being present and to observe ourselves during the whole day. In addition to this statement, there is another influence, of a mental character, which we should sense simultaneously, a response in our solar plexus- a sort of tingling or tickling.
The question that could arise in our mind is: Why only in the Solar Plexus? The reason is, that our attempts at self -observation are mental efforts, whereas in self-remembering, the aim of the self-observation practice, the self is emotional, and the Solar Plexus is the center where the emotions are mostly expressed through our body.
Also, during the mental pronunciation of “I Am”, we should synchronize this phrase with our breath in the following way: pronouncing “I” when we intake the breath, sensing at the same time ourselves as whole, here and now, and then, pronounce “Am” during the exhalation, sensing the tingling in our Solar Plexus. The whole exercise should be performed without producing any tension caused by the effort. It’s not as easy an exercise as it would seem, but after a period of practice , it should be possible to perform it.
There is also a tip that has been useful for me to remember that I have to do this exercise every hour: I use the cell phone’s alarm clock as a reminder for this, setting it to ring at every hour, so I consider that this tip could be helpful also for you in performing this exercise.

The purpose of this book is how to put in practice by ourselves, so to make accessible without the need of a presence of a Teacher, the practices to develop a higher degree of Consciousness as taught in the Esoteric groups. It’s a very big challenge, but such exercises and the approach has been tested from many people to which I purposed it, and the results are effective. Of course, these people have worked with constance, and they have begun to experience a different state of Being known as Self Remembering. I don’t like to share something that has not been tested by myself or, such as in this case, from someone who volontarily accepted this challenge. It’s my hope that those who are interested in this approach will also find useful this text (book) such as these people did.
